FAQ

Is the end date included?

No. From 1 March to 2 March is one day. If you are counting a stay or a rental where both ends are used, add one to the total.

How are months added?

By moving the month number and keeping the day, then clamping to the end of the month when it does not exist: 31 January plus one month is 28 or 29 February, which is what banks and contracts normally mean.

What is an ISO week number?

The international standard numbers weeks from Monday, and week 1 is the week containing the first Thursday of the year. That is why 1 January can fall in week 52 or 53 of the previous year.
