How to crop a PDF

  1. Drop in the PDF — the first page appears with a crop box over it.
  2. Drag the box, or type exact millimetre margins on the left. Auto-trim white margins measures the page and snaps the box to the content.
  3. Choose which pages it applies to, then press Crop & download.

FAQ

Does cropping delete the hidden part?

No. A crop sets the page's visible window, so the content outside it stays in the file even though no reader will show it. Do not rely on cropping to hide sensitive information.

Can I crop pages of different sizes at once?

Yes. The margins are applied relative to each page's own size, so a mixed A4-and-letter document keeps sensible proportions.

Why does my scan have uneven margins?

Scanners rarely centre a page perfectly. Use auto-trim on a representative page, then nudge the box by hand before applying it to the whole document.
