    How to resize an image

    1. Drop in the pictures you want to resize — one or a whole folder.
    2. Pick how to describe the new size: exact pixels, a percentage, a longest-side limit, or a ready-made social media size.
    3. Press Resize and download the results one by one, or as a single ZIP.

    FAQ

    Will resizing blur my picture?

Making a picture smaller is handled with a stepped high-quality filter (and the browser's own resizeQuality: 'high' path when available), so edges and text stay crisp. Making a picture bigger can never add detail — that is why Never enlarge is ticked by default.

What if my image is a different shape from the target?

Choose what should happen: stretch it to the exact box, fit it inside and pad the gaps with a colour you choose, or fill the box and crop the overflow from the edges. Social presets default to fill-and-crop, which is what those platforms do anyway.

Can I resize a batch of different shapes at once?

Yes. Longest side and Percentage respect each image's own proportions, so portraits and landscapes in the same batch all come out correctly.

    Does anything get uploaded?

No. Decoding, scaling and re-encoding all run in your browser.
