    Options

Conversion is drawn through your browser's canvas, so EXIF, GPS and colour-profile tags are not carried over — handy when you want to strip metadata before sharing.

How to convert TIFF to JPG

    1. Drop your .tif or .tiff scans into the box.
    2. Pick a quality — scans of text stay readable down to about 80, photos are safer at 90.
    3. Press Convert to JPG and download each file or the whole batch as a ZIP.

    FAQ

My TIFF has several pages — what happens?

Only the first page is converted. Multi-page TIFFs come from fax and document scanners; to keep every page, convert the file to PDF with a desktop tool instead.

    Which TIFF flavours are supported?

Uncompressed, LZW, PackBits, Deflate and most CCITT fax TIFFs decode fine. Exotic camera or medical variants (JPEG-in-TIFF with unusual tags, 16-bit float, CMYK with custom profiles) may fail, and you will see an error on that row instead of a silent wrong result.

Why is my file so much smaller now?

TIFF is usually uncompressed, so a 30 MB scan commonly becomes a 1–3 MB JPG with no visible difference on screen.
