How to convert PNG to JPG
- Drop your PNG files into the box — you can queue up a whole folder at once.
- Set the quality (85–92 is the sweet spot for photos) and pick the colour that replaces transparent pixels, because JPG has no alpha channel.
- Hit Convert to JPG and download the files one by one or as a single ZIP.
FAQ
Why did my transparent background turn white?
JPG simply cannot store transparency. Everything transparent is painted onto the background colour above before encoding — change the swatch if you want black or a brand colour instead.
How much smaller will the file be?
Screenshots and photos saved as PNG usually shrink by 70–90%. Flat logos and line art often do not shrink at all, and can look worse — keep those as PNG.
Does the tool upload my PNGs?
No. The conversion runs in your browser with canvas; nothing is sent anywhere and the page works offline after it loads.
