How to make and read QR codes
- On the Generate tab pick what the code should carry — a link, Wi-Fi credentials, a contact card, an email draft or an SMS — and fill in the fields.
- Set the size, quiet zone, colours and error correction, optionally drop a logo in the centre, then download a PNG or a crisp SVG for print.
- To read a code, switch to Scan and drop a photo or screenshot, or start the camera and hold the code in view.
FAQ
Does a Wi-Fi QR code give away my password?
Yes — anyone who scans it joins your network. The password is stored in plain text inside the code, so treat the printout like the password itself and use a guest network where you can.
Why does my code stop scanning after I add a logo?
The logo hides modules. Raise error correction to Q or H, keep the logo under about 20% of the width, and always test with a real phone before printing.
PNG or SVG?
PNG for screens and chat apps. SVG for anything printed — it stays perfectly sharp at any size, from a business card to a poster.
